Todd and Lee have been brushing past each other ever since they both built their engines last summer and the year before for Lee. It is almost like a dance. Yeh, say the Tango. Nobody saying anything just looking out of the corner of their eyes as they go by.
Will they ever line up? No one knows and no one is talking. Just grunting with their 3 inch exhausts (size matters).
You want to keep an eye on these guys as it will come to a contest some where some time. Possibly next summer.
They are both gentlemen so you don't hear any trash talk but, it is the silence that tells the real story. Did Lee put nitrous in to overcome the advantage Todd had with the Aluminum heads? Could be. Did Lee get some sticky tires? Could be. Will a four speed beat an auotomatic?
With us in the grips of winter it is fun to look ahead and run that race in our heads or to look back at Porkys. Lord knows there is nothing else to do!
